Photo Repair and Restoration
The picture below has a lot of memories attached, Lisa's much-loved grandfather doing the high jump, back in the days when only the softies had nice cushions to land on and several decades before Dick Fosbury invented his flop! The trouble was that the only picture Lisa had of what was an absolutely brilliant action photograph, was a photocopy of an old and tattered print.
The question was, could Learn to Dream make it better?? Course we could.
There were four main things we had to do to carry out the restoration :-
- All the scratches had to be meticulously retouched
- The distracting line in the picture had to be removed, as it was interfering with the main subject
- The background needed cleaning up and the contrast improved
- All the tears had to be repaired
The artwork was then produced on an A2 sized piece of canvas with a black Keyline border and the transformation was complete...
Free Consultation on all Restoration Works
So dig out your old family photographs and let's see what can be done to rescue them. It's a shame to hide them away when your family's finest moments could be displayed on your walls for all to see. Better still, it won't cost you anything to find out, as the initial consultation process is totally free of charge.
Photo Restoration and Printing
As you can see, using today's technologies (and a huge amount of skill) we can restore photographs of yesteryear to a pristine condition, perhaps making them even better than they were originally. Once we have done all the restoration work (all carried out digitally of course; the original is not touched at all), we'll print it onto the right medium, one that will be sympathetic to the image and thus show it off to the very best.
Working together we'll choose from canvas, acrylic, textured art paper or even our unique multiple layer process.
