World Wide Pinhole Photography Day

Pinhole photography has been around for many years now and can be quite fun (I remember trying this at school, making a "camera" out of a box). What is surprising however, in these days of technology, is just how much a following pinhole photography has, there is even, you may be amazed to find a world wide pinhole photography day held every year....
The next Worldwide Pinhole photography day is on the 27th April 2008 and everyone is invited to join in, all pictures being uploaded to a website, this international event being created to promote and celebrate the art of pinhole photography.
On this unique day, people throughout the world are encouraged to:-
- to take some time off from the increasingly technological world we live in and to participate in the simple act of making a pinhole photograph.
- to share their visions and help spread the unusual beauty of this historical photographic process.
If you want to have a go, but are not sure of how to start the WPPD website is there to help, the site providing details of how to make your "camera", take and develop your photo and how to upload the image to the website.
Go on give it a go, sounds like fun to me..
