14th Dec 2007
Photojojo, the website dedicated to coming up with all sorts of tips and tricks has just finished their research into the world of time lapse photography, they say its their greatest experiment todate.
Time Travel, in the form of time-lapse photography is yours to experience, their guide telling all about the " ins and outs" of time-lapse. Very soon your could be starting to churn out your very own "time-lapse video"s from your very own photographs.
All time-lapse photography is, really, is shooting a number of photos of the same object, these being spread out over a period of time, and then joining them together into one video, the video of course playing the whole sequence back in a much shorter time.
"Time-lapse lets you see the natural progression of time, while not having to wait through the actual length of it… so you could watch the sunset (at least, yesterday’s sunset) as you always wanted to, without staying up late to do so – and you could fit it all within a nice, brief commercial break in-between episodes of “Dr. Who” too."
