Second Welsh Open Photography Exhibition Opens at Uwic 15th Nov 2008

The Second Welsh Open Photography exhibition is due to open tomorrow the 15th November and will feature works by 12 photographers. All artists and photographers who live and work in Wales or who were born in Wales were eligible to apply and the result looks to be truly stunning. There is no set theme for the exhibition, the only stipulation being that the works had to have been taken after the 1st January 2005.
The successful exhibitors are represented by a group of four or more images, each photographer thus being able to show a small set of their work rather than only a single image as it was felt that this allows them to better demonstrate just what they can do!
This is the second Welsh Open Photography exhibition to take place at Howard Gardens Gallery show casing the work of contemporary artists in Wales, the first took place in 2006. The exhibition is open to the public from Monday to Friday 9.30am - 5pm, and 10am - 4pm Saturdays, entrance is free.
