Digital Photography Course in France
7th Jan 2008
A digital photography course in France could be just the trick if you want to improve your knowledge of Photoshop and be turned into a photographic genius at a stroke (well almost).
Digital photography for many means the shooting of hundreds of shots, most of which never see the light of day, but what if you could do better, producing shots that are worth framing as gifts, or maybe even printing in a book. The latter is easier and less costly than you may imagine.
The course being featured here is Roger Stowell, who gears his instruction to individual needs and knowledge levels, giving encouragement to all.
The courses are not just hard graft either, the mornings being spent photographing markets and fishing fleets, the display cases for the ingredients of local French life, both edible and human. Lunch is next on the agenda, eaten in lovely local village restaurants.
The afternoons are spent downloading the photo captured our laptops, the art of Photoshop being added under Roger’s expert eye.
The evening meal is again different as Roger is also an expert chef, so all the meals are home prepared, Rogers wife, Jenny, a model when they first met 35 years ago, being the ever attentive hostess, dispensing coffee and wine throughout.
