Digital Cameras - Even More Bells and Whistles.
2nd May 2008
A recent article in the Telegraph has highlighted a number of advances that now make taking photographs even easier, as long as that is you have the latest kit. It seems that there is a drive to get the photos that we take to a point where you don't have to spend hours on the computer touching them up to get the "right". Of course this is so easy these days, compared to all the trouble you had to go to in the days of film (believe me here, I was there !), as now just a few clicks on the mouse can put things right, but still should we need too?
The camera manufactures are now thinking that we'd rather get it right first time, so have built in a whole range of new technology that can ensure that someone's face is no longer all in shadow when there is a bright light behind them, or that it is not way out of focus (they handle this bit with "face detection software" that helps keeps the face sharp), all sorts of wonderful things are available, on the latest cameras...
