Digital Photography in 2008

The year 2008 was been a great year for digital photography cam enthusiasts, with more than 128 new cameras being launched in all. These spanned from the full blown Digital SLR to the simple to use entry level compact. Sony led the rush with around 11 new model launches, while their major competitors like Canon, Nikon, Panasonic and Samsung were not far behind.
