Meet the Staff

Simon (1987)

Photography student Simon was all the rage in Sandwell Birmingham. His big hair, drainpipe jeans and mini clubman estate were essential accessories for the budding David Bailey.

Since then Simon has lost the car, the jeans and more importantly the hair. He is now a director of Learn to Dream.

Rizz (1981)

Years before Cameo hit the pop/rock scene, Rizz was trailblazing 'electric shock' hair in Eraserhead styli. A tash to stop traffic and a t-shirt and tie combo to die for Rizz didn't enjoy the company of women for many a long year.

Now happily married with three kids Rizz is about the nicest bloke you'd ever want to meet and is the chap at Learn to Dream that finishes your images to perfection.

Seymour (Timeless)

Catalogue poses can look corny and contrived, if not a tad naff. Seymour took these elements to a whole new level. Even the lamppost was embarrassed. We tried to interview it recently but it was unavailable for comment.

Now a self confessed fashion Guru 'the machine' is a director of Learn to Dream.

Darren (1986)

Straight from the 3 for one (suits) discount at Millets of Basildon, Darren attended this 1986 wedding sporting a bluey, grey three piece. The church dates back to 1853 and coincidentally so do the suits.

DAZZA is now head of production and the most reliable man you could ever meet.

James Everett (1983)

"Jimmy the Greek" still dresses up to this day. The Superman suit has been replaced with D+G, the tights by Diesel and the boots by Prada. We'd love to actually report that he's flash and vain but he isn't, nor is he Greek. Why he's called "Jimmy the Greek" is a very long story.

Head of our digital department, a top bloke and a top printer.

Finlay (1984)

As a member of the Australian aristocracy Finlays picture in a wheelbarrow just omits the servant pushing it. Following this years Christmas jolly we realise Fin needs the wheelbarrow, as without it he simply falls over.

Known affectionately as O'Fish he is one of our retouchers and printers.

Alison (1986)

Camera shy, we had to beg Ali to bring a 'wee' picture in. Scottish down to her size fives Alison was holding the latest Mitre World Cup football. Still used in the Scottish league, as is the Stirling away strip she is sporting in the picture.

She still has the same three legs she had way back then. Alison is one of the voices of Learn to Dream; hers is the lovely soft Scottish one.

Pauline (1979)

Taken at the Empire Rooms Pauline's bottle red hair was exactly that, hair in front of bottles. Pauline was pulling the pints way before Peggy Mitchell arrived in Walford. Pauline left the world of dodgy boozers and came to work with us.

Little did she know she hadn't left the world of dodgy boozers at all! Pauline heads up our accounts department and kick boxes on a Wednesday. Late payers beware!

Jeremy (1977)

This picture was taken of Jeremy just outside Camden Market in October 1977, hence the collars.

It was the day he met Sonya, they went out later that evening and smooched the night away to the Heatwave classic ''Always & Forever'' and 6 years later they smooched to that very same song at their wedding.

Still together ''Always & Forever'' with their three lovely kids, after all these years.

A life long West Ham supporter, right down to his tail, Jeremy is head of our Research & Development Department.

Stu and Craig (1980)

Playa Del Cheapo in Spain. Both fresh from the Osmonds Dental Reconstruction Surgery with sets of 'hampsteads' to temporarily blind our female targets whilst we pour them a jug of Sangria.

A formula that was a roaring success until the point of them sobering up and their sight returning.

I still can't get rid of him as we are now both directors of Learn to Dream and still bloody working together.

James Ironmonger (1987)

This is the only picture where Jimmy looks better than he does now. The ridiculous haircut and high waisters remain, he still tucks his jumpers into his jeans.

Naff isn't a very fashionable word but perfectly suited to our man Jimmy. A story for every occasion Mr 'That's nothing!' heads up the Learn to Dream department.

All together! (Present day)

The team at Each One Believing, the Paul MaCartney exhibition we produced at the Proud Gallery in Camden.
